According to Crakhem, — elso be interested in obtaining any reward for tte apprehension of aletas., <Arrengements were made by Graham to contect and on the night of Merch 13, 1934, the writer contacted in the rear of a drug. - stated that he has a confidential informant, a former corvict, who edvised him that Richard Galatas has been in Hot Springs for the past several months and that he is being hidden out by Dr. Albert Housley. GR s+ ct <2 that Housley is a former convict; that he received ea sentence of one to fourteen years in Arkansas Etate Penitentiary for being in possession of stolen goods, and that he is now on parole from that institution, further stated that Housley lives about sixteen miles south of Hot Springs farm in a hollow, but that he could not definitely state the exect location of Housley's home, GAMMA Focuceted that thie agent treat the information given _ on Hot Springs Police Department beceuse he stated thet if the information he furnished should be called to the attention of Chief of Detectives “Dutch” Axers, he would undoubtedly lose his job. errs - . - mm at woes On March 13, 1934, this informetion was furnished te Special Agent in Charge Brantley, Oklahoma City, and he stated that he would contact thie Agent et Hot Springs on the following afternoon. On the following afternoon, Special Agent in Chores trantler crrived at the Marquette Hotel about 3:00 P.M. and . conferred with Grahan and this agent relative to the information furnished by and also regerding the information furnished Grehem by the tro women in- ormmactea referred. to above. Grahem waa unable to state definitely the exact location of Dr. Housleyts home, but stated he would try to Procure that informe- tion as soon es possible. . Mr. Brentley and the writer co furnished. =~’ practically the same infomation as set out ebove with the exception that he stated that he believed Housley was residing about sixteen miles south of Hot” Springs on Route 70. Mr. Brantley, accompanied by the writer, proceeded to Route 70, and sixteen miles from Hot Springs contacted Postmaster Harris, who is in charge of a email eub-stetion located there. Harris was interviewed rel- ative to the location of Dr. Housleyts home, and agreed to show the writer and iy. Brantley the exact location. In accordence with these arrangemerts, Post- master Harria, Special Agent in Charge Brantley and the writer proceeded cbout four miles Siva Fostuester Herris* home on Route 70 at which place herris pointed out a small farm house in which he sald, according to his information, Dr. Fousley resided with his wife. Harris etoted he hed never seen any other persons at Housley's home end that so far es he knew, Housley had not hed any cellers during the past three or four months. Harris also pointed out a house
