For additional information of the Bureau, the Cleveland Office is currently the repository in this case for a voluminous amount of evidence, including physical evidence such as M-1l rifles, .45 automatic pistols, etc. Cleveland is desirous of disposing of same consistent with the exigencies with regard to the pending civil case in U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Ohio. Accordingly, the Bureau is requested to ascertain through the Department whether or not much of the evidence obtained by the Bureau, particularly the physical evidence as opposed to documents, can be returned. If so, certain authorization from the Department should be obtained.
