VISIT OF PRESIDENT AND MRS. JOHNSON
The "“Trotskyites" probably refers to members of the-
Partido Obrero Revolucionario (POR » Revolutionary Workers
T-2 and T-3, who have furnished reliable informa~
tion in the past, on April 16, 1966, made tne following
resumé of incidents during the travel of President LYNDON B.
JOUNSON from the Mexico City International Airport to Los
Pinos, home of President GUSTAVO DIAZ ORDAZ of Mexico:
In front of the Benito Juarez hemicycle, Mexico,
DF, about 200 students from UNAM shouted, "Johnson out of
Mexico," "Johnson ~ Murderer," and "Yankees out of Vietn4n."
These students were dispersed by agents of the Judicial Police
in Mexico, DF, and by agents of Special Services, Metropolitan
Police Department.
When the Presidential retinue passed the corner of
Insurgentes and Paseo de la Reforma, another group of stu-
dents from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) shouted

Just before the PresideyaiGl retinue passed in
front of the United Statz Enhassy, a group of students fron
UNAM, headed by MANUE MORA, leader of Trotskyite
groups at UNAM, attempted to distrintite propaganda protesting
the visit of President JOHNSON to Mexico. MANUEL AGUILAR
MORA was detained momentarily but released by agents of
Special Services of the Metropolitan Police Department, and
his followers were quickly dispersed, but not before a number
of the agitators were struck by police officers.
T-1 advised that the propaganda which MANUEL AGUILAR
HORA attempted to distribyte consisted of “flyers" containing
[T]] the letterhead of PoR.
Many Cuban exiles lined the streets carrying signs
and flags of their country. The signs protested the "communist
meddling" in their country. These signs were confiscated by
police officials.
