The following information obtained from an article by
WARGARET CHASE HARRIMAN, which appeared in the New Yorker for November ©,
1941 and is maintained in the files of the New York Times; Relative to being
called a Comminist, Miss HELIMAN advised Miss HARRIMAN that, "she would like
to be a Iiberal if she could tell these days exactly what a Liberal is",
Concerning the rift with TALLULAH BANKHEAD over a benefit performance that
Misa BANKHEAD proposed to give for Fimish Relief, Misa HELIMAN explained that
she objected on the ground that Mies BANKHEAD and the cast had previoud y
