Attached to this memorandum is a copy of an
article appearing on Page 11 in the New York Times” issue
of May 31, 1967. This article indicates the subject
returned from the Soviet Union, where she spent two and
a half weeks, having left there on May 22, 1967, The
article also mentions that her last trip to the Soviet
Union was in October (1966). The article further
describes her comments concerning the freedom of literary —
expression in the Soviet Union.
