Concerning subject's trip abroad, it i
is noted that the "New York Amsterdam News” in
its issue of August 22, 1959, under the column
"Pulse of the Public", page 10, column 5, 4 letter
appesred signed by MALCOLM X, Khartoum, Sudan.
This letter reflected that racial troubles in
New York occupied prominent spece on the front
pages in Afric&® yesterday. The letter reflected
that Africans Beem more concerned with the plight
of their broth@rs in America than their own
conditions in africa. Africans considered
America's treatment of black Americans a good yard-
etick by which they can measure the sincerity of
America's offer of assistance.
