Arrest The "New York Amsterdam News", a New York Negro newspaper, dated December 9, 1964, contained an article captioned “MALCOLM Freed Of Speeding”. This article states that Criminal Court Judge WILLIAM BRENNAN, said he had doubt as to whether Muslim Minister MALCOLM X was speeding on the Triboro Bridge after hearing evidence for over an hour last week and acquitted the militant leader of speeding charges.
