The July 10, 1964 issue of the "New York World
Telegram and Sun" contained an article on page 6, which
indicated that prior to leaving for Africa ‘on July 9, 1964),
MALCOIM X commented, “I've received messages from coast to
coast for volunteers wio are trained and ready to invade
Mississippi when the word is given."
