MALCOLM X reached at his Boston hotel, denied that he or his followers were plotting to kill the Muslim leader. "I'm surprised at the acusation," he said. "No Muslim would think of assassinating MUHAMMAD. He has never been in any danger in his iife. “We don't have to kill hin. What he has done will bring him to his grave." MUHAMMAD's followers said that they would take every precaution to protect their leader. "We have our own security guards,” they said. "We just want the police to know about the threat.
