At a ayupceion on the topic "What's Behind the Harlem Rate-Gang Seare?", MALCOLM was introduced as a last minute speaker, substituting for one of the members of his organization, the Musiim Mosque, Incorporated (MMI). MALCOLM said he visited North African countries on a recent trip. He said that ideas of socialism were accepted everywhere by the people and their leaders. MALCOLM said that these . countries shy away from capitalism as represented by the former imperialist rule. He also stated that he was asked in all countries he visited about the existence of the "blood brothers”, According to MALCOLM, he renitjed that he wished that we all were "blood brothers", “He said that we are all. human beings and there was nothing wrong in claiming to be "blood brothers”. MALCOIM said when he came back to the United States, he found it more divided by racial hatred then any country he had visited, He said that it would be a healthier society with more tt # brotherhood and said the "blood brothers” vere @ good idea but the way it was presented to the press made it appear he tas in favor of violence.
