On 9/30/35, M. A. Purviea under aubpoena in behclf of Mra.
Anna Sajye called at the office of the US Attorney tn Chicago to adutse
he would be out of the city until 10/9/35 and wos served with a
subpoena for that date. In a statement to the press; Purvis adutsed
of the Bureau: poltcy of protecting the identity | of persons furnishing
