What I, see ~s an assoc~ation that is connected to a industry, that is obligated to keeping this association employed, and as far as im concerned the association that all the movies are being written for, consist of to many white faces and not enough others, and that's gonna have to change, or the executive branch is gonna have to change, in the union and production ~eadershipi as things ar.e, it is unacceptable. . , If, in no other industry, the movie industry should be a ' reflection of the nation that it serves; and the direction it is traveling in, and our nation is -no longer traveling in the direction of white race supremacy or European control, but in the direction of true freed on and justice,for all. ~ " What im call,ing for is not a new line of low budget black expectation films, to exploit black people, but for the wri te,rs and Hollywood leadership, to take the moral responsibility, and offer not a bunch of distorted views,' but to present a reflection of hope to the American people, regardless of race. Everyday I 1ea~e out to the str~ets of New York Citt, I see people'~f all races, should any movie about city life be any different? Hollywood must address the real world, the real problems, and the real solutions of today, it's not about the 6'O's it's ab.out the 90·s,' so hide the truth? No it's time to tell .the truth.
