The Theme: First of all let's d~velope the basic symbolic meanings of the four elements. Earth: We are talking about the dwelling place of manklnd. And t~e basic story line is that because woman was'deceived by the serpent and her man was mislead by her, the ground (Earth) was cursed. So to ~orrect this a man had to come and redirect his woman, and his woman had to overcome the serpent, and put her faith once again in GOD. "Come back to me" , Wind (Air.>: 'We are talking about commu'nications •. The Word of GOD was carried py messengers and transmitted through the Air, the Wind blows wherever it pleases. So through the Air t~e Word was delivered. Fire: Now we are talking about a purification process taking' place. Everyone ~ilL b~ salted with Fire. Wh~n we think in ter~s of mankind, we are talking about the act of repenti3:nce I which can be pure" h~ll. With the knowledg.e .of good and evil, .ahdthe. true des ire to do what is good, ~nd.do·away with evil, we can overc9me, but our flesh will ~ake it ~·~hallenge. Now in reality we are talking about the church. . , ',' ,Summary: . ·The Elements of the World is a lov~ story about a "couple who 'became spiritually one, but was separated physically for a nice amount ~f time, and was confused, but yet they held on and reunited, because of'the power 6f love, they overcame.' ~ The drama of this is the two comparisons, on the one hand you had ,a fe~ale who was really 'born poor but lived rich as far back as she can remember •. She became famous with celebrity statis, and'so the world of money 'and lust, turned her away from GOD. You had the ~ale her husband, wh6 was born rich and lived poor as far back as he can remember in. terms of reliving an experie~ce. He was looked down upon~ 'he was ~ drunk, who became homeless. And out of love for his wife he regained ,k.nowledge of ,se.If, but who would believe him? But out of 'love,~he ~elieved in ~i~self. While the whole world seemed not to 'believe- him,. he' wouldn It let go 'of his dream. So he told the truth and she hear~ it' and'knew ih her heart, it was her hueband, so' she turned' a.iay from her 'sinful ways and they reuni ted. .
