‘aie i | On January 1, 1965, the Federal Grand Jury convened at Jackson, Mississippi, to hear testimony concerning the abduction and murder on June 21, 1964, in Neshoba County, Mississippi, of three civil rights workers, JAMES EARL CHANEY, MICHAEL HENRY SCHWERNER and ANDREW GOODMAN. On January 15, 1965, a true bill was returned by the Federal Grand Jury charging the following persons with violations of Title 18, United States Code, 241, 242 and 371: CECIL RAY PRICE BERNARD L, AKIN JIMMY ARLEDGE HORACE DOYLE BARNETTE TRAVIS MARYN BARNETTE OLEN LOVELL BURRAGE JAMES T. HARRIS FRA 1K J . HER} YDON JAMES E.
