He went on to say that he fel BEY could not pppose to
noncombatant service unless--then he paused and said, "No, I'm sure
Brother PROPHET did not tel] him to do so." He said he personslly would
oppose to combatant service because it is against his religion to kill,
and he woild not like to.go into noncombatant service as he does not wish
-to have anything to do with this war. However, he said if he were calied
for noncombatant service he would comply rather than cause any trouble.

fight against his religion because such a man might turn around and shoot
