Subsequently, FBI Newark sent a lead to Boston in an
attempt to locate the source of the computer generated message,
however, Boston was notified by the university that anyone could
have sent the message from any terminal including remote
locations and it could not be traced.
On February 28, 1996, the details reported above were
presented to AUSA for a prosecutive opinion. In view of bé |
the facts, AUSA declined prosecution. b7¢c
Therefore, Newark is notifying FBI Headquarters that
captioned case will be closed effective immediately.
