Requirement: There
is no
longer an
automatic prohibition
that prevents
the recipient
of
a National
Security Letter
from
disclosing
that the
FBI has requested
the information.
To activate
the nondisclosure
requireent. the
senior RBI
official approving
this EC
must use Option 1
below and
include in
the BC
but not
in the
NBL! a
brief
statement
of facts
that justify
the nondisclosure
requirment. Option
2 is
to he
used
in all
cases
where
Option
1 is
not used.1
