He stated that had given him an envelope which contained a letter allegedly ‘from DAVE KORESH, a xeroxed page of text the bottom of which bears the words "ULYSSES, 1990 Vintage Press Edition," a xeroxed article from the LOS ANGELES TIMES entitled "U.S. Officials Lied About Cult Raid, Agent Says," bhi and a 3 1/2" X 3 3/4" computer diskette. He informed[ ~~ ]to14 him the letter had been delivered to CCC on 4/18/95 with the / regular mail, and that she had opened it because it had been addressed to CCC. He explained that after reviewing the contents of the letter, he showed it to CCC member[— who then reviewed the information on the diskette. He continued that relayed to him the diskette contained profanity and references to BIBLE passages in the Book of Hebrews. He explained that is at CCC. Po jretayed he had mentioned the letter to his Bible study group on Tuesday evening, and that in the morning of 4/20/95, he threw the letter and its contents into his trash. He advised he received a message on his answering machine at his residence on 4/20/95 at approximately 5:30 pm from CCC member who had_stated she had called the FBI regarding the letter.
