Dear Mr. White:
I am writing you in regard to the
case of United States wa. ¥. EK. Hale, which is set
for trial in this district at Pawhuska on October
k, 1928. You are, of course, a very material witness
for the govermient in the tricl ef this cass, as I
understand.
Myself, United States Attorney Roy St.
Lewis and Honorable John Leahy and Agent Berger had
& conference in my office last Saturday morning with
reference to this case, at which conference it was
Gecemed advisable to request, if at all possible, that
you be present with us at least a week prior to Octob-
er let, to advise with us amd assist in the prepara-
tion of this case for trial, ami this letter ia to
request auch presence, if at all possible.
