Dear Sir:
. On October lat I was informed by telephones
from Pawhuska: that trial of the case of W.-K. Hele, et al
had been postponed until November 12, 1928. 7. J. Leahy,
Special Assistent to the Attorney General, in charge of
the prosecution, requested me to permit Special Agent John
R. Burger to remain at Pawhuska to continue the investi-
gation and keep in touch with witnesses, ete.
I have authorized Agent Burger to remain at
Pawbuska as requested and until the Bureau has given its
approval therefor.
I am enclosing herewith copy of letter re-
ceived this date from Agent Burger relative to the matter.
