Informant advised that LATTI«ON". was to fly to Karachi, India from Tondon, Pazlanid and was expected to arrive at Karachi, India at 7:10 Pele, U. Se time, torch 8, 1950. Informant did not kiicw subject's destination from Karachi. Confidential Informant T-l2, of knowm reliability, advised that the subject wis to proceed from Karachi, India to Afgrimistean. This informant advised that LATTIVORE was hired by the “conomic Affairs Division of the United Nations in connection with the Uiited Nations T.chnical Assistance Prozram and he was given a single term appointment for ene month at 517,000.00 per year. The ini formant stated that subject, accoupanied by two other individuals was to take a motor trip through sections of Afghanistan in order to determine the amount of teclmical assistance that country would need.
