In the informant's opinion, the WCEJ Was an organization in name only, actually operated es a sub-group of the CRC and it was directed by CP members in the CRC. on advised that the WCEJ was defunct and had been inactive for an extended period of tim, On September 29, 1955, a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, through a telephonic pretext call, contacted WILLIAM L. PATTERSON, then National Executive Secretary of the CRC, who advised that the WCEJ was disbanded in July, 1955. . advised that ESLANDA BoUN Of the WCEJ had during 1954 sent = communication to Governor HERMAN E, TALMADGE of Georgia protesting the continued incarceration of ROSA LEE INGRAM. os
