January 4, 1957, the subject delivered a lecture before
a meeting of the TUP held at the Benjamin klin Hotel,
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. According to | the
subject spoke of her work as a correspondent to the
United Nations, then continued with the main topic
of her lecture, namely, the role of Africa in current
world affairs. The subject pointed out that Africa \, 'p
constitutes the last great land mass under the domination
of the colonial powers and its struggling millions would,
by sheer weight of numbers, inevitably disintegrate this
domination. According to ia the subject compared the
Soviet actions in Hungary to the British action in Kenya,
and asked how could the Soviets be censored for their
actions and not the British?
