An articlé which appeared in the Oregon Journal - on March 19, 1958, under the byline of MART me Journal music editor, was captioned "Botsford Auditorium jammed for ROBESON," The article referred to a spokesman for the Focua Club, the organization of Reed atudents which had sponsored PAUL ROBESON's appearance, as having stated it was the largest audience attending a concert in the auditorium, there being more than 1,000 in attendance.
