spoke of the enthusiastic reception she and her husband
had received in England and the Soviet Union and ashe
etressed the fact that PAUL ROBESON ie an American and
intends to return to the United States of America, ,
Concerning the above-mentioned rally, “The
Worker” of November 9, 1958, om page fifteen, carries an
advertisement soncerning the rally which atates in part
the following:
"Observing twenty-five yeara of diplomatic
relations,..and the 4ist anniversary ef the Soviet Union.
Rally for Peace and Friendship." ESLANDA ROBESON is
advertised as the featured apeaker and the National
Couneil of American - Soviet Priendship (NCASF) is
listed as the sponsoring organization.
A characterization of the NCASF is contained
in the Appendix attached hereto.
