Mr. PAUL HOYLEN, Consul, American Embassy, a
London, advised that ROBESON's passport expires in June, ;
1960, and that the Embassy upon instructions from the
Department of State, Washington, have sent numerous
communications to subject requsting that he answer
certain questions about his travel to Hungary in order
that they can further decide whether to renew his ~
passport. Mr. HO¥LEN stated as of April 8, 1960, no
answer has been received from subject regarding this
matter.
