Activities, United States House of Representatives, Washing
ton, D.C., contains the following concerning "Mainstream":
"Mainstream®*
"1, The Communist Party ‘1s regularly
putting out *** Mainstream --
monthly cultural and literary organ
published in New York.'

* Beginning with the September 1956 issue, the
name of this publication was changed from Masses and
