Europe advised that it hed no pertinent information on the subject.

The “Bulletin des Weltfriedensretes” (Bulletin of the World >
Peace Council), Nr. 12 (Volume VII), dated October 1960, which is iasued in
conjunction with the communist organ "Stinmen Zur Zeit" (Voices of the Times),
published montbly in Austria, carried an article regarding PAUL ROBESON,
According to this article, ROBESON, a member of the World Peace Comittee,
wes in Budapest, Hungary from September 10 to September 15, 1960 at the invite-
tion of the Hungarian Peace Committee. It was also stated that he took part
in numerous getherings of peace adherents in Budapest, as well as other
Hungarian cities.
