The progressive camp is gaining strength in America I mst state that today the strength of the progressive camp in America is greater than during the elections in 1948. Proof of this may be the continuous wave of strikes, which even the union leaders, rightists and devotees of the capitaliste, are unable to check. The American nation is beginning to realize that Wallace was justified when he demanded during the 1948 elections cooperation with the USSR and national democratic countries and a type of peaceful eco- nony which would not be a threat to the world. A military policy and the Marshall Plan weigh heavily upon the shoulders of the American labor world.
