He attempts to analyze the world racial situation from the standpoint of the Negro and apparently attempts to incite the Negro into a form of concerted action for the purpose of fighting for Negro equality. It would appear, however, that Robeson's attempts to explain and Justify his political views, as related to his discussion of the racial question, is obviously an attempt to influence public opinion in the United States and abread to his favor for the purpose of influencing the State Department to issne him a passport. It is noteworthy that Robeson evades any specific reference te the CP, USA, and feils to provide any argument regarding fhis alleged support of CP, USA, and front group causes other than his - previous association with the Council on African Affairs.
