Memo 7-17-37 Page 2. . Mr. Ross knew nothing further about Mr. Douglas' family background, his undergraduate and grade school education. I believe that so far as Mr. Ross’ estimation of Kr. Douglas is concerned that we can rely on his judgment since he seems to have been very well acquainted with him in law school, although he has not seen him for the past year. As far as Mr. Ross knows, Mr. Douglas' work with the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D. C., where he is now employed has been satis- factory, but I would suggest further inquiry along that line.
