A second notebook was observed by Sergeant Evans in plain view on the floor at the foot of the bed next to a cardboard box filled with clothes. These pages read in part as follows: “May 18, 9:45 a.m./68 - My determination to eliminate R.F.K. is becoming more and more of an unshakable obsession... R.F.K. must die..R.F.K. must be killed...Robert F. Kennedy must be assassinated before 5 June 68..." Other quotes taken from these pages were the following: "Ambassador Goldberg must die"..."Ambassador Goldberg must be eliminated...Sirhan is an Arab" "Kennedy must fall, Kennedy must fall...Senator R. Kennedy must be disposed of. We believe that Robert F. Kennedy must be sacrificed for the cause of the poor exploited people..."
