Memorandum to Mr. Belmont RE: TRAVEL OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL The Attorney General said he would like to meet our Special Agents in Charge where he has not done s0 previously and to visit our field offices if he has not had that opportunity recently. In addition, he said he would appreciate our providing him with transportation in these various cities. The Attorney General is planning to hold conferences with the heads of the federal law enforcement agencies in Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles and Oklahoma City. ACTION TO BE TAKEN: When the Attorney General gets his plans finalized we will, if approved, alert the various Special Agents in Charge instructing them specifically their activities are to be limited to complying with the request for assistance made by the Attorney General. i“, J hy,
