At 9:40 p.m., 6-24-64, Mr, Straus, State Department
Operations Watch Officer, extension 461 on the gray telephone
line, contacted Duty Agent J. C. Stokes and inquired of the
itinerary for the next day of the Attorney General. He said
he had some messages he desired to relay to the Attorney General.
After checking with Assistant Director Evans who
advised that the Attorney General was to be in Bonn on 6-25-64
and that the State Department should know the itinerary as they
planned it, Stokes passed this information to Straus on his
extension, Straus stated that the information served his
purposes,
