confidentially report on his conference with the Attorney General,
which was held at 11 a.m., 1/28/66 in the Senator's office.

AG véecommending that Senator Long inject his subcomnittee into *
the field of recommended legislation, rather than continuing hearings
zegarding the invasion of privacy. Senator Long stated he merely

The Senator stated that he had an opportunity to “neediet

Senator Long then told the AG that the rumors he had heard

been repeated and the fact that a number of them had cone fron
