Former Attorney General and his press agent, Edwin Guthman,

November of 1953, Evans denied recalling this incident, Ee
{ stated that it was his recollection that a tape recording was
played for the Attorney General in Los Angeles, The files show

New Yorks City. This recording emanated from a leased line

personnel in Los angeles failed to indicate that a tane recording,
which emanated from microphones, was played for the attorney
General or his party in Los Angeles,
