Offictal Assails Civil Rights Proposals." The article dis-
assed testimony given by Assistant Attorney General Davis
Grant of Texas before a House Judiciary Sub-committee con-
sidering ctutl rights legislation, Grant denounced the
proposed ctuil rights bills and charged that the NAACP and
tis EFrecutive Secretary, Roy Wilkins, would run the Federal
Comniasion on Civil Rights, as proposed in the bill.
