He did not know the exact date that Wilkins was to be in Selma, nor did he know the nature of Wilkins’ visit. Lett, 821 First Avenue, Selma, Alabama, who is the Pastor of the Greene Street Baptist Church, is in charge of all arrangements in Selma, Alabama, in preparation for Wilkins’ visit. Reverend Lett is the Treasurer of Selma University and is also Treasurer of the Negro Alabama State Baptist Con- vention.
