- Noted passenger ticket procedures: Records for all routes -
sent to Greyhound H.Q. in Dallas, TX. When a ticket is
purchased, (3) copies are issued (1-Ticket agent..1-Passenger
and 1-Bus driver retains). Greyhound terminals send agent
copies to Dallas, app. once a month. Driver tickets retained are
also routed to Dallas. .
- On this trip, the Nogales/Tucson ~ Phoenix tickets would be
dropped at the Phoenix location, while the Phoenix to
Flagstaff passenger tickets would be dropped at the
- Flagstaff station. .
- Note: No ID. is required to purchase a Greyhound ticket .
but most agents typically ask for a name for display on the
ticket. If handwritten, it would be rare to have a name
associated with a purchase. The Nogales station still issues
written tickets.
The source indicates five (5) males boarding the bus in Nogales, Arizona.
A heavy set Mexican male, who was also a double amputee (no legs), sat across .
from her in the first row. The other four passengers were described as a
combination of Anglo-Hispanic, thin, with dark hair. :
- Noted bus stops: Between Tucson and Phoenix, the bus
' . stopped at Marana, Eloy, Casa Grande, Chandler, Mesa, and Tempe. App. ten
more boarded, with most getting on in Mesa. All passengers got off in Phoenix,
and nobody continued on to Flagstaff two hours later. It was estimatéd 20 -
people boarded at Phoenix with another 10 getting on at Sky Harbor, Airport,
Glendale, or Camp Verde. The leg to a? from Phoenix was the only bus
traveling the night of 03/25/02. SS. in. efforts to pin down the exact date
of theft, set an immediate-lead to Dallas, in order to locate the passenger tickets
for this entire run.

The following relates to activities possibly surrounding the theft o
credit card/personal property;
- Interview segments were read to sayl iin early March
2002, possibly on a Thursday, she received a phone call from J. Williams
(‘Muhammad’). Muhammad states he w; Greyhound bus station in
Tucson, Arizona and sought to visit heq_ said she picked hirn up at mid-
day. When she arrived, Muhammad was accompanied by a younger man he
referred to as “his son.” [ Jeame to know him as “Lee.” She said
he spoke with a slight accent, possibly Jamaican. She knew him later by what she.
thought was his actual name, that of “John Malvo.{ sd identified
one she knew as “John Malvo,” as one of the subjects within the investigative
photographic arrays, that of the suspect, “Lee Boyd Malvo.”
