October 2, 2002 - 5:20 p.m.
Michaels Arts and Crafts
3800 Aspen Hil1 Road
Silver Spring, Maryland
No injuries sustained during this incident. One shot
was fired through the window of the store.
The partial
projectile was Iound on 10/13/20o2 in a blanket purchased by a
Michael's customer.

October 2, 2002 - 6:04 p.m.
Shoppers Food Warehouse
2201 Randolph Road
. Wheaton, Maryland
James Martin, white male, 55 years old was shot once in
the back while he was walking into the store.
The bullet.
impacted into his spinal column and no fragments of ballistic
value were obtained. It is believed the shot was fired from
approximately 75 yards and was in all likelihood fired from a
vehicle.
