Peurifoy -- merely said that this man Duran was no longer an employee of the State Nepzrtment, but had been in the auxiliary foreign service fron January, 1913 until September, 1945, and theresfter until Octoher k, 1916, in the Department. Ir. Feurifoy added that Duran had voluntarily resigned from the Stete Department on October Lh, 1946.
