Morris furnished the following information concerni
himself before the Federal Grand Jury tn New York city in the
Améerasia case.
It is noted that on March 21, 1950, Senator Hickenlooper =
wrote the Director requesting any pertinent information on Morris :
who was being considered at that time for appointment as Co-Counsel
to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. At that time Assistant ©
Special Agent in Charge Whelan of the New York Office, advised the
Bureau that Morris was Go New York secretary of Congressman Coudert .
