RE: EDWARD M. "TEDDY" KENNEDY (D)
SENATOR-ELECT--MASSACHUSETTS
In January, 1962, Edward Kennedy wrote to Assistant Director Callahan
on behalf of Special Agent John Sullivan who desired a transfer from Cleveland to Boston.
Mr. Kennedy was advised that Sullivan had resigned 12-15-61, and that Sullivan had never
specifically requested a transfer to Boston.
On July, 1962, the Boston Office received information of a threat to kill
Edward Kennedy. This information was furnished to the Secret Service and the Attorney
General.
