termined from local operator that at 6:05 PM,
June 9, 1968, an individual calling from a pay phone in Tampa
had attempted to reach the residence of Senator Ted Kennedy
- at Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, but that. no one answered the
phone, This individual then told the operator it was impéra-
tive he speak with some member of the Kennedy family, if
possible either Joseph Kennedy or Mrs, Jacqueline Kennedy,
The operator determined these individuals have unlisted tele-~
phone numbers and therefore consulted with the chief operator
at Hyannis Port to determine whether the call could be put
to the Kennedy residence, Assistant chief operator
at Hyannis Port, Massachusetts took the call and in-
dicated that prior to placing it, the identity of the individual
