® ® SUMMARY FROM ITALIAN _ Letter to the Director postmarked July 3, 1964, from: b6 . b7c aronno ym (T¥anslator's Note: This address is not complete since the writer, who has written before, assumes that the Director knows the full address). \ a a) The communication is undated, The writer has just learned of the air crash in which Senator Edward-Kennedy was involved. He is very sympathetic and wishes to convey f6 the Senator his. best wishes for a prompt recovery also on behalf.of the majority of Italian boys and girls. Since he does not know the Senator's address and has been _ corresponding with the Director, he hopes that the Director will forward the remaining portion of the letter to Mr. Edward Kennedy whom he addresses personally. In the portion of the letter addressed to Senator Edward Kennedy, the writer encourages the Senator to look forward to a brilliant future, pointing out that the cloud which has cast a temporary shadow on his life will soon disappear under a most resplendent sun. _ He wants the Senator to know that he is not the son of an important man, but the son of humble workers, a capacity which, in his estimation, makes him entitled to interpret the feelings of the Italian working people best.
