POSSIBLE THREAT TO UNITED STATES SENATOR EDWARD M. KENNEDY JUNE 21, 1977 CONGRESSIONAL ASSASSINATION STATUTE She had contacted the Woburn Pihlic Library while attempting to locate a book entitled, "How to Solve Your Divorce Problems." While talking to the librarian, she also inquired as to the address of Senator Kennedy's Office in Boston. After completing her telephone call and continuing with her housework, she recalled a conversation with her mother-in-law many years before wherein her mother-in-law had told her that the men of the family would go to any length to keep their women from Teaving them. She stated she has known for many years that "forces" listen to her telephone conversations and report them to her husband. She stated she then realized that when this conversation was reported to her husband, he might consider that Senator Kennedy was about to assist a in obtaining a long sought after divorce. She then felt her public duty lay in a private notification to Senator Kennedy_to warn him of the possibility of danger from the men of the [ family. In the course of the converstion, Mrs. advised that in order to block her divorce, her husband had once had her committed to a mental institution for a period of time before her friends could rescue her and return her to her home. She stated she was currently involved with.a mental health institution in Medford, Massachusetts and that there was nothing wrong with her other than her inability to get a divorce from her husband. She stated she is living at home with her husband and family at this time beause she is a very patient and forgiving person. She stated she had never heard of anyone threatening Senator Kennedy and knew of no information regarding such a threat. She reaffirmed that the only reason she sent the telegram was to prevent any possible misunderstanding derived from the interception of her phone call by the mysterious forces. b6 b7c b6 b7c
