Enclosed for the Bureau is an FD 376 together with an LHM furnishing information concerning a letter received by the American Friends Service Committee, 48 Inman St., Cambridge,\ Mass. on 6/20/73, and subsequently referred by that organization to the Boston Office. Copies of the envelope and the newspaper clipping which it contained are being attached to the LHM for the information ofthe Bureau. On 7/2/73, the date on which the letter waS feceived by the Boston Office, SAC ROBERT E, LILLEY, U.S. Secret Service, Cambridge, Mass., was telephonically contacted and advised of the contents of the envelope. . bi7c On the same date, ip to Senator EDWARD M. KENNEDY'S OfTice in Bos on, was advised of the receipt of i fact that Secret Service had been notified. Miss stated that from the description of the contents of the letter, she believes it is the work of the same person who has sent similar newspaper clippings referring to the KENNEDY'S with obscene remarks on an almost weekly basis.
