The FBI does not have any reliable information wh
would reasonably indicate that sabotage was the cause of the space
shuttle Challenger explosion.
The overall FBI investigation of the Challenger explosion
is being coordinated by our Tampa Office. The Tampa Office has
maintained a close liaison with the NASA Mishap Investigation Board
through the NASA Security Office.
If the FBI can be of further assistance, please do not
hesitate to call upon me.
