Memorandum for The Director RE: PRESIDENTIAL COMMISSION ON THE 7 : SPACE SHUTTLE *CHALLENGER" ; :- At 10:50 a.m. on March 4th, I discussed these matters with Aspistant Director Sharp and requested him to,;make arrangments to designate two Agents by the end of this week bho would be mature, experienced in conducting sensitive interviews, and who would be able to carry out this responsibility with discretion as requested by the Commission. The Agents designated will report to Emily Trapnell at the address given above. Emily Trapnell said that the service of the investigators would be nonreimbursable as to the Salaries of the Agents but that NASA would pay all expenses of their service.
