It Stated he was staying at the Willard Hotel. _ ACTION: fhad In view of the possibility that Levison's contacts in be Washington might have security significance, I talked to Supervisor Jes# Farr of the Washington Field Office and suggested that efforts be made immediately to institute a physical surveillance of Levison while in Washington to determine the nature of his contacts here. Farr advised that Washington Field had photographs of Levison and had placed him under surveillance on occasions in the past, and immediate steps would be taken along the lines suggested.
